Flu vaccine notes due now; Montclair Times Article; Upcoming workshopThank you for turning in those very important notes from your child's doctor or clinic stating that your child has received the required flu vaccine for this season. We ask that you turn this documentation in no later than next Friday, December 14th. As required by New Jersey State law, children (up to the age of 59 months) without this required vaccine cannot return to school after January 1, 2013. Please contact me right away if you have any questions or concerns. ( If your child had flu vaccine on October 27th at our flu vaccine clinic, don't worry, I have the documentation on file). As noted in the article, the MCPK will host an important workshop on immunizations and related health issues on Saturday, February 2, 2013, between 10 am and 12 noon. Our featured speaker will be Dr. David Goldberg, Chief of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson. Parents and all members of the community are invited.
