Preschool Teacher: We are seeking a creative and experienced preschool teacher to lead an experiential, project-based learning classroom based upon Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences for three to five year olds for the 2016-17 School Year. Candidates must have a passion for young children, love working closely with families, enjoy planning and implementing curriculum based upon the children’s interests and needs, and have experience fully including children with special needs. Experience with child assessment and individualizing learning preferred. P-3 or Elementary Education Certification required (in process may be acceptable). Elementary School Book Buddies: MCPK partners with local elementary schools such as Hillside to provide students with access to older, more experienced readers who will stimulate a love of reading for children.
